Me and my sister are going to Foil highlight her hair ourselves...
We went out to Wal-mart and got a Revlon Frost and Glow kit. But she does not like the cap. So we were wanting to know if we could use the Foil method instead? Also she has medium-long hair length and is Brown.
How to do Foil Highlights?
Longer hair takes awhile to do. Just part off the sections of the hair and use regular foil cut in small squares. The foils will start swell/puff up when they are ready to take out. I usually use a hair dryer on my foils to heat them up and help process quicker. Good Luck!

as a hairstylist, let me tell you that its hard. you cant take sections deeper than 1/4 an inche, or it wont bleach properly. so if you want them to look really thick, do two foils back to back and then skip an inche in between those sections.
