I have a layered haircut and I keep it straight with my flat iron! I use a medium flat iron plate and it works great on my natural wavy hair...try the ones by conair or revlon even.. you can get them at walmart or target. They come in ex.small. small. medium..large and ex.large! Good luck!

i dont think it matters what kind of plate it just depends how much hair you want to straighten at once, or thats how i see it. i like straighening my hair quick and fast so i can just GO so the plates on mine are about 2 inches, if i had a 1/2inch or 1 inch plate it would take me a lot longer i know for a fact lol my hair is thin also and its frizzy and wavy after it dries so i understand ur problem haha

My daughter loves the big plates, she thinks they work much better. You have to clean them regularly or the coating will start to flake off. She spends approximately $100.00 or so on hers and she thinks they are worth every penny.

It's not about the size of the plate but the quality. They need to be made of ceramic and infused with minerals. Chi and FHI make great flatirons but Chi is truly the best on the market. You will find the frizzes smoothed and the hair silked. Make sure to always use a thermal protectant when flat ironing to reduce heat damage. a Chi flatiron retails for about $149 but you can find it on line for around $99. It seems expensive but these flatirons last a busy stylist for 5 or more years so they should last a consumer forever!

I personally like a 1 inch iron. And make sure it's a good iron, such as a Chi. I have curly hair and when straightening it, I use a product called Hot Spray by Kenra. It seals the hair cuticle and eliminates the frizzies. Don't get in a hurry, draw the iron slowly down the hair strands.

Get the biggest one you can find. It will take a lot less time!!! Also look for one that says ionizer or ceramic as these will help to prevent the frizziness and help to stop more breakage from occuring!

You will like the small flat irons so much better because you have more control and can easily straighten those baby hairs framing your face. I have a chi straightner and it is ceramic (that is important) it costs about $100 but is well worth it. It will last a lot longer than the ones you buy from wal mart. I had a cheap one from wal mart and after a month one of the iron plates stopped working. It was horrible. I hope you take my advice cuz this is one of the few things that I actually know what i'm talking about. LOL.

The relaxers that have to be mixed must be thrown away due to the increased calcium that forms. The longer the relaxer stays unused the more damaging it will be for the hair.

Because once you mix the two, the ingredients are activated and are only activated for a couple of hours and then they're no good. I would suggest next time splitting up the two, meaning take some out of the container and add half of the liquid and save the rest for next time. But my sister puts her left overs in the freezer and she says it works for her, but I've never tried it. Hope this helps!

oh boy, im not really sure on long hair but i've had one once. Try washing it and while it's still in the kinky(if it's kinky) form and then leaving it alone, maybe shape it a little with a comb. If you have some parts of your that hang straight while you might have to roll them. Let it dry then that's it!

These two websites offer advice for blondes and for people with blue eyes. I find it works to actually mix the two. I have dark brown hair and blue eyes so I can do more than it suggests for blue eyes, but I try to keep it natural.

Try soft colors during the day, keeping it natural and pretty. Use taupes, vanillas, roses, and khakis. Go easy on the liner, and try not to use black, but I must admit that I do sometimes. Liner really does bring out certain shaped eyes more, and makes them look brighter. Mine are nice evenly shaped and set apart and large, so I can do a little more than someone that has small or deep set eyes. At night, if you have a date or special event to go to you can use more for sultry looks.

It's tough to tell without a photo, but I think that the only way to know for sure is to just go for it. It sounds like you have light features, so I don't think that blonde would look unnatural and horrible. The only thing that's a tell-tale sign of a dyed blonde is their eyebrows. If you have light hair and dark brown eyebrows, people are going to know. I know that you can have your eyebrows bleached at certain salons, so that's always an option if you need to go that route.

Experiment! That's the only way that you'll know for sure.

put your hair in a pouf. do you kno what that is? take your bangs or about a 2 inch section of the front part of your and pin it straight back with a couple bobby pins. pull it out a little bit so it makes a little hump. you can put the rest down, in a messy bun or ponytail. or just do something simple and add a cute hairclip or headband.

go natural with your makeup. try some gold or brown eyeliner on your lower lids and wing them out a little at the corners. curl your lashes and use some mascara on your top and bottom lids. put some shimmery shadow on your tear ducts and under your eyebrows. use translucent powder all over your face. it evens out your skin tone with the caked-on feeling of foundation or concealer. finally maybe use a little bronzer on your temples, cheek bones and jaw line for a natural healthy glow. or some blush on your cheeks.

I don't think you should, because it's risky. If you don't like the way they look afterwards, they take FOREVER to grow back. It'll work if you have a large forehead and thin straight hair. It would also depend on the length of your hair. If you have long or short hair, then it will look perfect on you.

I don't like the dress, I think it would make you or anyone else that wears it look like a flamingo dancer. If you do go for that dress, go with the black and white, it will look more classy, the color of the dress in the pic is awful.

There are many dress's out there that I have seen around that would make you look a million. Have you tried Jessica Mclintock, they always have beautiful gowns at great prices and they have stores in many malls. I think that you should tie your hair up and go for the Glam look. Its only your prom once. Have a blast. Shopping for the dress is the best part.

I think that the brown and blue and then Champagne and gold would look lovely. I would either wear your hair down and I would wear some brown heels maybe and then as for your hair as I said leave it down and curl it at the ends, or do an updo like a bun or have it professionally down, and get your nails done.. Use a round brush while drying your hair. Dry your hair %70 of the way and then use a round brush to finish drying. This will not give you spiral curls or anything but it will curl the ends. Use a frizz control product to straighten your hair. Scrunch your hair using scrunching gel and a diffuser(an attachment that fits on the end of your dryer) for a curly look. Good luck!

Well for #1-CURLERS! Take a shower at night.

Dry it with a towel first

Then Blow dry it only let it be DAMP!

Roll the curlers in your hair(make sure

Sleep in them..in the morning unroll them slowly and brush ur hair lightly!

#2-There is some spray or something like that at local drugstores you coould buy. Apply it after you straighten your hair.

#3-Well if you have hair like mine scrunching doesnt work well but from what my BFF has says(Scrunching Expert) Moose,Gel,and Hairspray. First you want your hair to be wet...then apply the gel. Grab all your hair and bring it up to the top of your head hold it there then let go. Do this like a Bazillion TIMES! Then apply the moose.Afterwards spray the hairspray ALL over! Once set..Blow dry it to stay in plce.Make sure it gets HARD and STRAWY b4 going out into the wind!

Im not sure bout curling cos i have short hair but you can defiantley stop frizz by buying frizz serums/sprays (get them from any good chemists), before you straighten your hair apply a little bit through your hair. You cannot straighten your hair every day cos it will end up being damaged and frizzy so only straighten once every few days. Get your hair cut every six weeks to avoid split ends. hope this helps xx

the way I do mine is I part my hair in 4 sections so I can get my scalp I hold my hair at the top and start from the bottom the best come to get if your trying to get close to the root is the comb with the curved tip, prices range it depends on where you get it from they will all the work the same I got mine from a wigs-n-braids hair shop for 12.99. Another way to prevent from burning your scalp is press your hair using Kemi-Oil not hair grease.You can go to Sallys beauty supply but they are a bit more expensive.

It helps if you have nice clean hair to work with, so wash and blowdry your hair, then use a straightening iron to make it less "bushy".

Use a Rat Tailed comb, found at any store with cosmetic or beauty supplies, part your hair down the middle of your head. The part should be lined up with your nose.

after u've parted it, put it in pony tails. one of the left and one on the right. use a small scrunchie or rubberband to keep them in place. take one ponytail and twist it hard until it wraps around the scrunchie or rubberband. do the same to the other side. use a rubber band to secure each bun.

I recently purchased a cowhide rug from ebay. It's new and never been used. The hair is of a medium length, probably about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. I'm noticing little white specks on the hair that I didn't notice before. So I'd like to know if it's lice, and if so what I can do about it.

1) do not let just anyone do your micros , go to a trained professional . Just because they say they can do them and they are cheaper than the beautitician , dont believe them . Just pay the money to the African braiders , it will look better trust me .

Here is some advice for what it's worth: If you are gonna get braids why get oil treatments? Braids by itself are going to protect your hair from damage.

I suggest you wait until you get your next perm for your trim and hot oil treatments.

Best thing to do is to wait until your hair is in better shape. You can get Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny shampoo and conditioner. It helps repair the hair a little faster and is a great conditioner. Do not re-perm your hair until it is back in condition. Or You may end up having no hair what so ever.

I would skip all perms colors anything with a chemical until your hair is back in shape.

It depends on the look you are trying to achieve. If you are going for natural, 1-2 shades lighter than your normal hair color, and only where the sun would hit it. That means, only around your face and the top layer. Highlights that look the most natural actually are two to three DIFFERENT colors blended into your natural color. These are best done at a salon using foils. If you are going for drama, and not necessarily natural, go for contrast, maybe 3-4 shades lighter and all over, not just the top and front. You can use a box highlighter with a cap and hook yourself if you are only using one color too... MUCH CHEAPER!

golden blonde highlights will really lighten up your hair. Or if you want to darken your hair, you can get caramel brown lowlights. Either way, it's going to look great. You will save a lot of money if you do! Salon prices are outrageously expensive these days. My daughter has your hair color and she has beautiful highlights from a salon, but it cost us big time! (Well over a hundred dollars, including cut and styling.) You can buy kits that do basically the same thing. I will be coloring my own hair from now on. My last salon visit cost me $90+ and the color faded after the first 2 washings. Wasn't worth it at all.
