Getting my hair cut ?

My hair is brown, wavy %26amp; a few (maybe two ?) inches shorter than mid-back-length. It is thick, with long layers and a long side fringe.

Here's what i'm thinking: Half an inch off each layer (which will probably turn into 3/4 of an inch), an inch off my side fringe and nothing off the ends. I also want to get my hair re-thinned.

Does this sound good ?

But what about the colour ? My hair is medium brown. I wish it were lighter. I don't want to dye it. What should I do ?

I wouldnt change the color maybe a few highlights scattered around the sides and onto the fringe, if you get your layers cut it will make your length long longer so yes good idea, lol.

You can get a razor cut it will thin it out. And as far as a light color try using lemon juice a little at a time. I hope this helps you. Do what makes you feel good about yourself. Good Luck.
