i haven't had a perm since april. i want micro braids. This girl is gonna do my hair. I have lots of new growth. My hair is medium length and is thick. My hair is kinda dry. She i go to hte beautican and let her clip my ends and use hot oil treatments in my hair???? No perms, i'm waiting until august 9th to get one

1) do not let just anyone do your micros , go to a trained professional . Just because they say they can do them and they are cheaper than the beautitician , dont believe them . Just pay the money to the African braiders , it will look better trust me .

2) Yes , you should go to the shop b/4 you get it braided , so that they can clip your ends at least .

3) I suggest that you get your braids a little bigger , because micros do a lot of damage to your hair , and that you have whoever does it braid past your hair length , and then put the glue on it

That is the best thing to do is wait. Perms sometimes break and damage your hair really bad.

Here is some advice for what it's worth: If you are gonna get braids why get oil treatments? Braids by itself are going to protect your hair from damage.

I suggest you wait until you get your next perm for your trim and hot oil treatments.

Best thing to do is to wait until your hair is in better shape. You can get Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny shampoo and conditioner. It helps repair the hair a little faster and is a great conditioner. Do not re-perm your hair until it is back in condition. Or You may end up having no hair what so ever.

I would skip all perms colors anything with a chemical until your hair is back in shape.

WHEN I GO TO THE BARBER SHOP, I ALWAYS ASK THE BARBER TO TRY TO IMPROVE UPON WHAT MOTHER NATURE HAS DEALT ME!!!( TRUE!!!)---OF COURSE,HE,THE BARBER, CAN ONLY WORK WITH WHAT IT IS THAT MOTHER NATURE HAS "DEALT UNTO ME, CARD-WISE"---BE HAPPY,ACCEPTING, AND CONTENT, WITH THE YOU THAT IS WITHIN YOU---ALL ELSE IS BUT VANITY!!!
